5 Causes of Impotence at Young Ages................

Today, impotence often occurs as a result of the wrong lifestyle and physical condition or illness. That is why now impotence does not look at age.

Impotence or erectile dysfunction causes a person not able to erect or maintain erection penis so that sexual activity is hampered.

A July 2013 study by the Journal of Sexual Medicine showed that impotence was more common among men younger than previously thought.

The researchers found that impotence affects 26 percent of the adult under the age of 40 years.Almost half of young people suffer from severe impotence.So, what causes impotence at a young age?

1. Frequent consumption of alcohol. Alcohol is a depressant nervous system that can block nerve impulses and block brain communication with the body. Alcohol affects the nervous system during erection, so there is no continuity between the brain and the nerves that govern the penis for erection.

2. Wearing certain drugs
Drugs used to treat high blood pressure, work on the arteries and bloodstream, thus affecting the organs of the body in obtaining an erection. Hypertension can cause impotence because the arteries are less flexible and narrow, so the flow of blood to the arteries is reduced. This is what causes impotence, because the blood circulating in the penis becomes limited.

3. Smoke
Men who like to smoke usually do not realize that the habit will endanger health, including sexual organs. The longer, the nicotine deposits contained in the cigarette will accumulate more in the body. An excessive stockpile of nicotine will cause the blood flow is not smooth and cause an erection can not run normally.

4. Using hair growers
Did you know that hair growers can be a cause of impotence at a young age? In April 2012, the US Food and Drug Administration warned the product to grow hair loss containing Propecia drugs, to include warnings about long-term sexual side effects including problems with libido, ejaculation, and orgasm in men.

5. Depression
The feeling of sexual arousal that causes an erection, begins in the brain. Conditions such as depression and anxiety can disrupt the process. One of the main signs of depression is losing interest in things that bring pleasure, including sexual intercourse.


Stress associated with work, money and other life events can cause impotence at a young age. Poor relationship and communication problems with a partner can also cause sexual dysfunction in men.
